Before joining Hansei Solutions at its inception in 2016, Emily worked directly in treatment settings in admissions coordination and substance use counseling. Those experiences, combined with her own recovery journey, gave her a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face when seeking help. Since joining Hansei, she has played a pivotal role in building and strengthening the company’s utilization review processes, progressing from UR Specialist to Team Lead and, in 2024, to Utilization Review Team Supervisor. Along the way, she has helped expand and mentor a rapidly growing team while strengthening systems that support patient-centered care.
