Hansei x The Refuge Center for Counseling: Advocacy in Action During the Holidays

This Giving Tuesday and throughout the 2025 holiday season, both Hansei Solutions and Benji are honored to spotlight our partnership with The Refuge Center for Counseling, a mission-driven nonprofit in Franklin, Tennessee dedicated to making mental and emotional healthcare accessible, affordable, and transformative for individuals, couples, children, and families across Middle Tennessee. 

Founded in 2005 by visionary therapists looking to serve those in need regardless of income, The Refuge Center has grown into a trusted provider of professional counseling services. With a sliding-scale fee structure, the Center ensures that cost is never a barrier to care—so those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, grief, or life transitions can find support when they need it most. 

Today, The Refuge Center offers a wide range of therapeutic modalities and specialized services through a team of experienced clinicians and interns. From individual and family counseling to group therapy and innovative approaches like music therapy and neurofeedback, their compassionate care meets people wherever they are on their healing journey. 

Many of our Hansei team members are personally connected to this community—some as clients, some as volunteers, and all as advocates for mental health and emotional well-being. That’s why this season, our focus isn’t just on giving back, but on standing with The Refuge Center to elevate awareness, reduce stigma, and support accessible care for all.

Giving Tuesday reminds us that sustainable impact happens through community effort. We’ve joined hands with The Refuge Center to contribute time, resources, and advocacy, and we invite our partners, clients, and broader network to do the same. Together, we can help spread hope, strengthen connection, and ensure that everyone in our community has access to the support they deserve.
