Erin Burke is the founder and CEO of Hansei Solutions. A visionary leader on the cutting edge of tech innovation, Erin’s keen ability to identify trends and embrace new technologies keeps the company at the forefront of the revenue cycle management industry. Her inventive leadership style and commitment to building relationships with clients and partners brought Hansei Solutions to Gulf Capital’s attention in early 2021, and she continues to break ground as the first female CEO in Gulf Capital’s portfolio of companies.
Erin founded Hansei Solutions in 2016 to help addiction and substance use companies leverage technology to improve inefficiencies in their revenue cycle management. Her approach was so successful that the company quickly expanded into the greater behavioral health space and primary psychiatry, staking a claim as the country’s leading revenue management partner in this sector. In 2020, she steered Hansei into non-hospital surgical centers, where the company is experiencing outstanding growth nationally.
With nearly 15 years of experience in healthcare business engineering — the majority in revenue cycle management — Erin possesses a deep, insider understanding of these companies’ needs. Engineering management roles with Ohio State University Medical Center likewise prepared her to address the unique challenges and requirements that healthcare companies face.
A Six Sigma Green Belt who is also trained in Lean principles, Erin’s extensive process improvement and change management expertise guides Hansei Solutions in innovating and adding value for its clients. Under her direction, the company has scaled rapidly to better address clients’ evolving needs.
Erin’s passion for supporting addiction and mental health treatment extends beyond Hansei. A true advocate for awareness and societal change, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Didi Hirsch Foundation, which provides free mental health, substance use disorder and suicide prevention services, and she is an active committee member for Addiction Treatment Advocacy Coalition.
Erin earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from The Ohio State University. She is actively involved with Young Presidents Organization and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.
When she’s not in the office, Erin enjoys reading, hiking and exploring the world with her husband and son.
