Vice President of Technology, Hansei
Kelly Lyon is the Vice President of Technology at Hansei, overseeing engineering, analytics, IT systems, and data platform strategy to deliver scalable, AI-enabled solutions across the revenue cycle. With more than two decades of leadership experience in healthcare, technology, and global operations, she has built a career transforming complex data into measurable business outcomes.
Before joining Hansei, Kelly spent more than a decade at Conifer Health Solutions, a subsidiary of Tenet Healthcare (NYSE: THC), where she held senior analytics and leadership roles driving revenue cycle innovation. There, she developed advanced analytics solutions, ranging from predictive models to Python-based charge audit tools. Her Natural Language Processing (NLP) model reduced claim holds by $38 million, while her COVID-19 dashboard secured $41 million in Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) reimbursements across multiple providers. She also led Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives that generated millions in annual savings while strengthening operational accuracy and compliance.
Earlier in her career, Kelly led supplier quality and global supply chain initiatives at Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC), Nokia (NYSE: NOK), and Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK), including a program that reduced international supply costs by $55 million through optimized contracts, logistics, and procurement.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Texas and is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified through Texas Tech University, a Certified Python Developer through Coursera, and Kepner-Tregoe certified in Problem-Solving, Decision Making, and Root Cause Analysis. Kelly combines rigorous analytical thinking with a people-first mindset, helping Hansei’s technology and product teams turn complex data into practical solutions. Her goal is simple: remove barriers so that care can reach the people who need it most.
Outside of work, Kelly is an avid gamer, lifelong reader, exercise enthusiast, and dedicated community volunteer.
